CATAL1.5°T Labs 

A new climate technology superhub for Latin America 

We promote startups, science, and business to tackle the climate crisis from Mexico for the entire region.

What is CATAL1.5°T Labs? 

CATAL1.5°T Labs is a regional platform that connects science, startups, corporations, government, and capital, offering intellectual and physical infrastructure to accelerate startups, technologies, and innovations with high climate mitigation potential, from the earliest phases to the scale-up stage.

What do we do? 

This new climate technology superhub will offer an initial range of services that will expand later as we add more partners.

  • “Personalized Mentoring” Program
  • “Corporate Access” Program
  • “Investment Readiness” Program
  • “Investor Match-making" Program
  • Venture Building (sponsored by Breakthrough Energy)
  • Basic prototyping spaces and basic laboratories

Venture Building Sprint by CATAL1.5°T 

Venture Building Sprint (VBS) is a key initiative of CATAL1.5°T Labs to catalyze the creation of technology-based companies with high climate mitigation potential in Latin America, using a Lean Startup methodology. It aligns with the mission of promoting disruptive and deep tech technologies that address the climate crisis.
